Training Description

This "Train the Trainers" training has been designed to equip internal trainers with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for designing, conducting, and evaluating effective workshops and training sessions. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the psychological conditions of adult learning processes, enabling them to create engaging and effective educational experiences. The training focuses on developing key trainer competencies, from building authority and trust to managing group dynamics and dealing with challenges. The program includes both theoretical aspects and intensive practical training, allowing participants to immediately apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work. The goal is not only to provide tools and techniques but also to enhance trainers' confidence and awareness in their role as educators. The training will provide practical experience in designing training activities, conducting lectures and discussions, and providing developmental feedback. Training Program

Module 1: Psychology of Learning and Training Design

  • When adults learn
  • Competence triangle
  • Role of the introductory session
  • Defining training objectives
  • Module flow: The first module will introduce participants to the topic of adult training, focusing on the psychological conditions of the learning process. Through work on two levels, substantive and meta-level, participants will not only acquire training knowledge but also understand the actions taken by the trainer towards them and their effects. They will then learn how to define training objectives that enable development in the areas of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. On the topics they propose, they will practice opening a workshop, formulating and communicating training objectives to the group, presenting the agenda, and contracting with the group. After their presentation, they will receive developmental feedback.

Module 2: Trainer Techniques and Group Management

  • Kolb's cycle in practice
  • Forms and training activities
  • Building authority and trust
  • Managing energy, attention, and resistance
  • Module flow: In the second part of the day, participants will learn the principles of designing workshops based on Kolb's cycle and practice selecting appropriate forms of teaching and group activation depending on training objectives and available resources. As part of practical exercises, they will design training activities based on the content and presentations they will deliver in their own classes. They will prepare fragments of presentations, Q&A sessions, and practical and activating exercises. They will learn good practices regarding communication, time management, and participant attention during workshops. They will also learn proven techniques for dealing with resistance during sessions.
