Training Description

The training "Role of the Leader: Developing Common Principles and Expectations" is an intensive workshop aimed at raising awareness among managers and leaders of their key role in the production team. Participants will have the opportunity to articulate mutual expectations with their superiors and contract specific behaviors. The program focuses on practical aspects of communication, including receiving criticism and proposing alternative solutions to superiors. The training will also allow for understanding the challenges associated with personal change in the role of a leader, as well as the sources and types of resistance to their role among team members. Participants will learn and practice communication procedures. An important element of the training is the game "Black Inez," which allows participants to experience dilemmas of trust and distrust in teamwork. As a result, participants will learn how to build and regain trust within the team, as well as how to effectively communicate facts and opinions. The training is designed so that participants can analyze desired and undesired behaviors, detail their perceptions, and plan behavior scenarios in the context of their role.

  • Module flow: The aim of the module is to exchange and contract expectations regarding the role of the leader between those who hold it, their superiors, and the HR department. During the workshop, participants will analyze desired and undesired behaviors, detail their perceptions, and plan behavior scenarios. Key competencies of the leader and the expectations of the organization and the leaders themselves regarding their role will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to practice communication with their superiors, focusing on clearly articulating needs and expectations. The module aims to develop a common understanding and contract principles of cooperation.

  • Module flow: In this module, participants will play the training game "Black Inez," during which they will face dilemmas of trust and distrust in situations where the success of the team's work depends on decisions made by others. The game will allow them to experience situations where the key to success is effectively dealing with trust or distrust among colleagues and will indicate tools for building mutual trust. Participants will learn to see the differences between facts and opinions in daily communication and practice informing about difficult situations, including giving and receiving criticism and suggesting alternative solutions to their superiors. They will learn the basics of managing personal change, identify the various stages of change within themselves, and ask their superiors for adequate support. They will also understand the sources and types of resistance to their role among team members and learn how to cope with it. The module will also cover issues of self-motivation.
