Training Description

This offer presents an intensive, practical workshop dedicated to implementing the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) system and working based on this approach. During the training, participants will familiarize themselves with the key assumptions of the OKR system and understand the differences between managing based on OKR and traditional goal management. Key success criteria for implementing the OKR system will be discussed. Participants will learn best practices, how to develop clear objectives and measurable key results according to three categories of OKRs. They will also learn how to implement, monitor, and improve the OKR system in their organization, as well as how to use this approach to enhance organizational effectiveness and the quality of teamwork. The training emphasizes the practical aspect, combining the necessary portion of knowledge with work based on the real needs and challenges of participants, allowing them to directly experience working with OKRs. The trainer will guide participants through the process of defining objectives and key results at the team and/or organizational level, enabling them to continue working independently after the training.

  • Module Course: Participants will familiarize themselves with the idea and main assumptions of the Management by Objectives (MBO) and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) concepts. The most important similarities and differences between them will be indicated. It will be discussed when and in what organizational context it is worth using MBO and when to use OKR. Based on the presented assumptions, participants will develop a list of strengths and weaknesses of each method, as well as opportunities and threats arising from them from the perspective of effective inter-team collaboration and achieving goals. The aim is to enable more informed and situation-appropriate decisions and actions.

  • Module Course: Participants will undergo practical training in formulating objectives and determining their key results and prioritizing objectives, working on business case studies. They will develop the skill of reverse planning, which will be useful when creating an OKR system for their team or organization. They will also learn to practically use the responsibility matrix. Participants, using knowledge about the OKR system and its main assumptions, under the trainer's guidance, will prepare an OKR grid for their team or organization, working based on a real business situation. This will be an opportunity for brainstorming, discussing objectives, agreeing on priorities, and creating an action plan based on OKR assumptions.
